can we test our terrains?
« on: August 09, 2000, 01:38:00 PM »
I tried to find the answer in the readmes and such as I'd like to know before I download such a huge volume of files.
Once we create a map and populate it with fields, will we be able to test it offline? I'd love to test fly some of my maps that I plan on making.

If not, will future versions have this ability? What about 8 way H2H on a Lan?

Thanks!

You can't test the maps in offline mode (yet), but as soon as the  *.res file is your AH terrain folder you can select the new terrain when hosting a H2H session... that's the only way to test the maps I think

Actually you can test them offline within the Editor itself.

Set your preferred terrain as the current terrain. Then start the editor and go to "offline".

Instead of hitting "Editor", just go to a field and fly like normal.
