What is your point?

Point is all the default keymaps are available in game in the same place you go to set up your controllers. You can even see them in VR, unlike a piece of paper.

In WO:P they're on the clipboard so that's obviously a possibility in AH3.

While in flight you can also click help, at the top of the help is List key commands.

If you wish to print them hit the B key to open in browser then you can print them.

This is a good thing to have permanently attached somewhere on the clipboard to be seen.   If it can be done in a subtle way.

You have a point there about VR.

I can only speak from my experience and that experience is that looking up key commands in game when you are new at it is a bit of a catch 22 and also either covers your view with menu or takes you out of the cockpit assuming you know where to even look. It is not uncommon in  AH to print out base maps, players have edited and distributed base maps; you don't need to print out base maps to see them as they are available in game. Is the fact that you don't need to print out base maps to see them an argument against making them easy to print out?

What I have noticed in playing AH IL2 a little bit of WT is that with AH it is something like 4 clicks of the mouse to get from the desktop into the air while the other 2 games there was a lot of meandering and waiting. By the same token if I am trying out this new AH game trying to fly with a mouse and I want to put my flaps down or my gear up or start the autopilot it is a lot easier if I can look at a piece of paper than it is to just somehow know that I can press the ESC key and then guess my way to the right screen and back hoping I haven't crashed.

I tried the help button and it did not work as described. When I opened the B for browser the link for key commands did not work.

Pies not kicks.

To see the key commands with the Help button you have to be in flight, or at least in an aircraft or vehicle, like Hitech said. He's very precise with language.

The Help button is context sensitive and is a work in progress so more content is being added.

I always figure grammar and spelling are to Hitech what power chords are to Skuzzy.   :rofl  :D :neener:

Hitech has explained his spelling. He is concise and logical and precise with language.

You would benefit from reading everybody carefully and thoughtfully instead of always looking for things to criticize.

Reacting emotionally and rationalizing your opinion as always correct wastes whatever intelligence you have.

Hitech never laughs.

Although he sometimes bares his teeth in what I assume is a primate aggression display.

Some might mistake that for a laugh.

Hitech is serious about work.

This is not a hobby for him.

Is that so hard to understand?

I think the sharks with laser beams speak for his sense of humor.

Wow.  You must be a lot of fun at parties.

Has anyone ever made the mistake of inviting you to one?

I started writing a new pilot's guide some time ago.  I have revised it a couple of times, and recently made a suggestion of posting my quick start guide on the main page of the web site.  I wasn't trying to get my name in lights, I was just trying to help. Then I went back and looked through the training pages, and I found that a lot of what I was writing was already there.  The problem is getting new players to read it.  There is plenty of good training material already written.  The problem is putting it where new players can find it easily.  The next problem will be getting them to actually read it.
