Reasons are many but a few of the biggest ones are better medicine, better surgical techniques and better pharmaceutical interventions. All three of those combined add to the quickly growing outpatient services sector of health care. Since these have grown in popularity in the recent years, the need for costly overnight hospital stays has declined.
