Gods Eye setup
« on: April 12, 2020, 06:52:59 AM »
With dying early and often last night left me with time to try to figure out how to setup and use the gods eye view to watch the remaining fights.

As Violator was having issues I thought I would share the steps I used.

1 go into keyboard settings and set mode 3 to asterisk "*"

2 go into joystick and go to mode 3

3 copy mode 1 settings to mode 3

4 in mode three map hat switch right to move CM forward

5 map hat switch left for move CM backwards

After you are shot down press f5 to go into gods eye mode

Then press  "*" asterisk to get into mode 3

With map up see where fights are

Using throttle, joystick as steering and right hat switch slowly fly over to fight

Trick I found was that I was using way too much throttle and was going way too fast to control

Just use small amounts of throttle

Hope this helps

Thanks Eagler. It's tough for me to keep an eye on the event and explain this sort of thing at the same time.
Low throttle is very important as you can fly across the map with throttle full in no time at all.
After last nights event I have doubts about my ability to explain things.
Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.
