Is there a read me file I dont know about for the terrain editor, like what does one need to edit the terrain files in terms of software and the start here and stop here kinda stuff, I have no clue where to start but would like to give it a go.

The terrain editor is VERY glitchy and hard to learn and all the "readme" stuff i have seen forit would at best be considered EXTREMELY VAGUE.  There are lots of little querks that you have to get through the pain in the bellybutton of learining.  It is not easy to use in any sense.
