smoking wrecks
« on: May 06, 2020, 08:44:54 AM »
When a plane is shot down the wreck remains on the ground and smoking for a while. I think this would be cool and would make for some great screenshots too.

And wonderful frame rates.

True but he could likely work out a max number to be showing in an area, and just have the oldest one vanish once it hits that number.  With that said, I'd say doing just about anything else would be more useful.

Fields being vulched would look funny though.

On my end, clouds are have no negative impact on frame rate. MA or events.

I don't think internet would have any effect on clouds and Frame Rate, but PC specs sure would.

When the clouds affect your frame rate, that's a GPu issue. When your frame rate is solid and the game lags, that's often a game engine issue; Total War Empire suffers from it.
The AH Engine and 8GBvram cards would be OK with wrecks scattered around for limited time periods. 4GBvram cards I can see suffering frame rate loss.
