May KOTH broke the three hour mark for the first time that I can remember, which isn't too far but what the heck. A few things I remember from the event was the energy fighting D3A1 in the first round. Don't see that everyday. I have been timing the rounds from take off to when we have a winner and someone commented that of that round length of 17 minutes, they had a 1v1 fight going for about 10 of the 17. You certainly get some epic dog fights in KOTH and we roughly had a kill every second minute of the event.
We had a good turnout with 15 people and as mentioned we broke 3 hour for the first time I can think of going 3 hours and 15 minutes. We had 11 rounds and 4 wabbits although our first two had to leave the event, possibly to get their teeth sharpened? Eagler came through and won his third round during our 11th and won the event. Congratulations and -{S}- to Eagler for winning May's KOTH A. The Bf 109E-4 was chosen for June's first chariot of battle.
