Suns reflections on 109's canopy
« on: May 17, 2020, 07:15:04 PM »
I'm using FreeTrack 6DOF similar to TrackIR, with IR led 3 point head tracker and am not sure if LED's make the large white outs on side canopy glass. I only notice them when flying 109's. Any one might have an answer? This is an old issue and still unresolved.
  After last patch I was receiving texture creation error message. { texture creation error=ffffffff name=[] rtf=00000024 format=00000000 }

Are you asking if the LEDs associated with your head-tracking setup causes in game reflections?
If so, the answer is No, they do not.

Yes I do think the IR LED's are translating image. I also have seen as I can describe white lines or ray beams that were displayed on the AH log in screen, and moved as head tracking LED's moved. IF LED's are not the cause, then is large reflective white spot's normal?

Try changing monitors and see if that helps? It's possible you are seeing EM interference.

I didn't know that large white ball of reflective light was normal. I'm skeptical though, I've never heard mention of it nor seen it on a AH film. My eyes have enough trouble'.
