Just getting to know her. So far was only able to do a 4" diameter circle at 15 yards. And she could use a longer trigger and a little bit lighter.

There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Is that from Springfield Armory?

Nice looking piece

I absolutely love 1911s and that is a very pretty one.

I recently put new grips on my old Springfield Armory stainless steel. I got the Pachmayr grips that mix wood with rubber to replace my old all rubber ones, which looks prettier yet functions just as well.

I carried WWII manufactured 1911s on guard duty on my submarines. Remington Rand made them in 1943 and 1944. When the grip safety malfunctioned on one after countless years of service, they didn't bother to fix it. The broke out another brand new, never issued 1943 that was sealed in a bag with cosmoline to replace it. That was a beautiful weapon. About a year later, we converted to 9mm Berettas. They took all four of our 1911s, including the brand new one, to be cut up and sold as scrap metal. It broke my heart.
