Great idea to name streets to help with coordinating attacks/defenses.
Lot's of good possibilities for naming. I support a few mentioned and some others or a combo of these...but not limited to.
1) game developers.
2) long time players that have passed while still subscribers.
3) Map Makers. (IF you make an approved and circulated map)

While I think "memorial" street names might be nice, how would you pick which ones make it? If you check Fallen Friends, unfortunately that list is a bit long.

Personally I think HTC crew past and present should be there, with the rest as a bunch of wacky names. AHII had some fun ones...

Volche
Hordes
Hoer
StabMe
Runn
Supfile
RuelFour

Some others might be

Pickr
Porkr
LwnDart
Collision way
Milks Run
Campr
OneShot
Bombs Way

What else can ya'll think of?

You trying to get Hitech to bring back the late AH2 town object? Might be nice to have it and the AH3 one both around the maps.

One way to reduce the number of names for consideration would be to memorialize players who have passed and also made a contribution to AH.

I'm not saying this should be done but Fugi asked for ideas.

To what end. It would just slow things down (frame rate) I think. I am sure someone will let me know in a kind way.

like it was mentioned in the link of the OP, AHII had streets named on the town. Usually it was a sign on the side of the building at the intersection. In AHII many GVers used the names to coordinate attacks.

Here, were just talking "what if"

If HTC uses player names it should be players who have passed away.

Hmmm... if that includes folks from the WarBirds days, what about "Carrot Court" ?

In Air Warrior Fields used to be named with Player Names also.  I think that may have been AWII.  Hell.....I can't remember.
