State of the Union
« on: June 02, 2020, 05:37:27 PM »
So far this year we've had pandemic disease, government over-reach violating constitutional rights, earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, and violent civil disorder. It's only June.  :devil

But the historic news is a private company put two men in space at a considerable cost savings vs NASA and the coolest part, in my opinion, is the reusable first stage landing on a drone ship in the ocean.  :aok

You forgot to add the miracle of all the protesters killing covid-19 over night and freeing the USA from lock down. That poor virus never stood a chance against all those concerned citizens and their flames of freedom. Heck now we can have those long overdue block parties to toast some weenies and drink a bunch of brewskies doing it.

Hollywood can't beat real life for a script like this.

This is like the old joke that voters are harsher to their beer brewer if he has an outage, than their politicians after raising their taxes. Death and taxes are certain but, fun and sex is only now.

I didn't forget, I chose to ignore irrelevant details. I was contrasting the spate of ordinary disasters with the major historic milestone.

If there isn't a Covid-19 flare up by 3 weeks from now, then I think I might actually see football games in stadiums this year after all.  But if there is, this season is toast.

The so called pandemic has been no worse than usual for a virus.

Well done on real news. Two men is space on a new vehicle.

Bustr is 100% correct .. you are overlooking the medical miracle that burning a sporting goods store down and stealing $200 tennis shoes killed the deadly global bat blood virus overnight!!!

We didnt need to shut business down and lose 41 million jobs, we just had to have a few more 75" tvs looted a few months back and we would have been saved...

Well, either the plague is toast, or the protesters will be sick soon. Somehow I don't think the virus is all that impressed with riots.
