your views are not properly setup. It's limiting. If you have a pinky switch on your stick try this:
look up stick sets in settings for controllers.
In stickset 1 - set your hatswitch to views as follows:
forward - view up
right - view right
left - left
back - back
leftback - left back etc..
In stickset 2 - set as follows:
up - view up + forward ( essencially 45 deg up )
left - left + up ( left and 45 deg up )
and so on.
Than in Stickset 1 set pinky to "switch to stickset 2"
and in stickset 2 set it to "switch to stickset 1"
Rest of settings same in both sticksets ( you can use "copy to stickset" button to make a copy of set1 to 2 and then just change views )
This will give you a full viewrange using hatswitch and just pinky. It will take a couple of days getting used to, but once you do, you'll be able to track the con subconciously wherever he goes.
