P-40C as a substitute for a Curtiss Hawk 75 flown by the French Armée de l'Air in June 1940. This plane belonged to Groupe de Chasse II/5 La Fayette (GC II/5) whose lineage goes back to the Lafayette Escadrille of WWI and retains the Chief Sitting Bull emblem which originated in 1916.
"White 11" was flown by Czech volunteer pilot Josef Duda, who scored 1 victory and another probable victory.
