Clipboard Map Plane Icon

Please make it so 'our' plane icon overlaps all of the other icons on the clipboard map.  IE Tanks/planes...

 I really hadn't thought of it but +1 for this.  There have been several times I lost track of where I was because my icon was covered up.

If I close and reopen the clipboard map I'm always in the center.

It still doesn't look quite right having the tank icons on top of our plane, when we're passing over them.

  And yes I know my plane has a compass but some times I go to look at the map to see what direction I'm going and my icon is hidden under everyone else...  Again just a small thing but........

I sometimes look at the map and get shot down.....  trees do not use tracers.

Maybe the plane icon should just be a dot.

Something about being able to see which direction a plane is turning by looking at dar seems pretty gamey to me.

Think of it as really good radar operators vectoring you toward what they see on their scopes, telling you their interpretation of what they're seeing.

It must be embarrassing when your dotDAR used to be intercepted by a person watching the dot move one pixel to the right and down two in the old days.
Reminds me of the strat headed bomber pilots that think they are in Stealth because the somehow DARBAR slowly moving across the map makes them invisible.

  I actually preferred the old dot dar because I kinda liked the surprise of not knowing if it was bombers or fighters coming in.  But even back then your icon would show up to you heading in the appropriate direction.
