Anti-Alias Settings
« on: September 26, 2020, 07:18:19 AM »
Here's a weird one.   I've managed to get my laptop anti-alias setting via the manufacturer's graphics software in Windows 10 Control Panel to smooth everything out in the game.  However, when I take a screenshot using Alt+S the resulting picture has jagged edges on the object in question.

Do I need to change something else?

Here's an example.  In the game the skin edges look smooth but the screenshots are not.

How come screen shots always look better than the game in play?

I think it's a settings difference.  Shadows, reflections, object detail, bit count, etc.  Also time of day is a factor.    Skins look vastly different with varying sun angles.

Found the problem.  I guess I missed this option when looking for it the first time.  It's on the startup menu...

Enabling AA in-game makes the cockpit interior darker, making it difficult to read some of the dials like trim, etc.
