On October 17, the TBM Avenger torpedo bomber, which played key roles in WWII, will fly for the public. At 9:00 a.m., Museum historian Gene Pfeffer will tell the story of this famous type. Walk-around and pre-flight are slated for 9:30 a.m. Start-up is slated for 9:45 a.m., with taxi and fly-bys to follow. Questions and answers are planned for after the plane returns.
