On October 17, the TBM Avenger torpedo bomber, which played key roles in WWII, will fly for the public. At 9:00 a.m., Museum historian Gene Pfeffer will tell the story of this famous type. Walk-around and pre-flight are slated for 9:30 a.m. Start-up is slated for 9:45 a.m., with taxi and fly-bys to follow. Questions and answers are planned for after the plane returns. This event was originally scheduled for October 3.

The purchase of advance on-line tickets is encouraged. Advance ticket prices are:

Adult $13

I really like these events, the crowd is usually small and you can get real close to the aircraft.  They have a great museum as well.    Same day as the TFT Scenario though, (

Cool!

If you go, you might still be able to make plenty of the TFT.
