WIP, wanted to start doing some -1's and this was one i found decal sheets for and a small amount of info on before coming across the pic. One description says it had a field applied tri-color camo and red insignias. Haven't done one with red yet so that caught my eye. Next profile showed no outline around the insignias and both showed a failry fresh paint job. Picture looks closer to the latter with fresh paint over the red and worn a bit else where. I went with that for now unless the group thinks it could be red. Thanks for the input!

I'm not worried about that at all. Love seeing this board busy, means more eye candy. This has always been the first section I've checked since signing up.

Very nice.

I would prefer the red surround on the insignia, but that's just me.

Your Insignia Red is way too bold and orange-ish, but I think it will look great with some adjustment.

Try this.



I use this for Insignia Red on the American P-39's I've got cooking. Also for the walkway stencils on every P-39. Here's a sample from an in-progress P-39D.
