Situation may improve after October 28th: If AMD announces a powerful RDNA2 architecture some 3080 buyers may cancel their orders and switch to AMD. So others staying with their order get higher chance for delivery.

I was lucky and got one a couple days after launch (3090 Zotac).  I have an Asus and eVGA 3090/3080 coming for our other 2 PCs, should be here Tuesday.  I've been really impressed with the 3090 in terms of VR performance in cockpit/sim games (the only reason I bought them).  AH already performed really well with the 2080tis I had, but DCS and a couple others I play frequently have benefited a lot from the newer RTX 3090 card for me.

I know right, waiting for the new iPhone to show up, my current one died, and I'm stuck with my old Motorola back up which has the worst camera ever put in a phone.  My AIO water pump died in my PC last night too, bad luck comes in 3s, so I'm hoping the next/last thing that dies is something really cheap.

Good luck on that. Just built a new machine with a 360mm AIO.
