why?  So all those paying customers can log and be stuck flying P-40s?  you have it backwards as to what is an arrow into the game.

If you don't want to switch sides to even teams, that is your choice to fly a P40.

Getting Hoarded by G-14s and P-38s and P-40 isn’t much worse that being hoarded by Ponies
Just because one side has twice as many players down’t mean they have any advantage because they are often fighting on two fronts so the fight is actually even.
Switching sides on a large scale brings many more problems than is solves.
Being in the side with too many in a lopsided fight is boring and players switch so they have targets to shoot at. ENY isnt necessary to facilitate switching.

It was working. Folks who like to horde were complaining about the aircraft they were having to use. Only when the number dropped to just a few in the arena was it a problem. Normally it worked. Change sides or use a different plane.

It did not drop to the P40 instantly. It usually took a bit for folks to ignore the situation for it to drop to that point. In any case..... congratulations on promoting hordes.

last night at close to 3am pst, knights won the war. we had 7 players think rooks and bishops had 4 or 5 each.

so our horde of 3 with late war monsters of a p38, rocket tank and m3 captured the last base.

He likes that he can now happily be unopposed cherry picking aircraft at the end of runways in his K4, while his score is protected by the horde he brought with him.

K4 is rarely limited anyway at 15 eny.

Once the K4 gets parked, you can then go to a yak3. Once that gets parked ki84. If that gets parked, you can then go to a 109g14. Ki84 is really not much different than a spit8 or spt16, so with pilot skill, ENY ain't gonna do anything. It really just prevents bored players from Jaboing which equals more logging off if they can't do that.

I appreciate the advice. Here the thing...I pay full price every month. Im against anyone telling me what I can fly. especially if their argument is that it makes it easier to beat me. Why anyone would keep asking for that must be based on an emotion I don't possess, and have no interest in acquiring.

So...  "a sense of fair play", which is usually grounded in "empathy".  Duly noted.

Personally, I don't think there's a material difference between being horded by P47s or being horded by P51s either.

I pay full price too. I payed over a year and could not fly because of hurricane Harvey. It flooded my home and I lived in my RV. I did that just to support the game.
