Rose Bowl should be in AT&T Stadium every year. So much nicer stadium and looks great on TV.

Sure, just rename it and have the Rose Bowl in the Rose Bowl.

The other stadiums are not named by the bowls.

I like Chris Fowler but his comment at the end of the Ohio State throttling (see what I did there) of Clemson has no basis in fact or informed opinion, only ignorance and pandering.

Really? Well this one is. So, if you have a Rose Bowl Game that is not in the Rose Bowl Stadium, it needs to be renamed, right?

The Rose Bowl Game can be demoted to the level of a smaller New Year 6 and not in the Playoff. Just switch the Cotton Bowl and Rose Bowl regarding importance. This way the Cotton Bowl is not played in the Rose Bowl Stadium and the Rose Bowl is not played not in the Rose Bowl Stadium.

Not required. .  Can be in a much better stadium in a much better place.

Win or lose.... osu had much less wear on the team than those who played the season.

I didn't know what to expect out of the Buckeyes after 7 games.  Throttled?  Yes Clemson was throttled.  They had a total of 44 yards rushing.  Clemson apparently has not played a team this year with the speed that Ohio State has.  The number of passes that were thrown over 40 yards against Clemson when their DBs were beaten showed the speed Ohio State has.  Clemson gave up 192 yards rushing to Sermon alone. Ohio State got well over 600 yards in offense.  Sounds like a difference in speed to me.  In games against Northwestern and Clemson the last two games, Sermon has rushed for 524 yards and Northwestern beat Auburn today making the BIG 3 and 0 in Bowl Games.  Clemson was one dimensional and had no choice but to throw the ball.  A lot of the yards they got passing were in the later stages of the game when the had no choice but to throw being down by 28 points at one time.  This is the worst loss Clemson had all year giving up 49 points. Fields had a great game playing hurt. Completing around 75% with 6 touchdowns and one interception passes and several of his touchdowns and passes were over 40 yards.

Now.....after 8 games do I know how good Ohio State is?  Not really.  All I know is they play Alabama for the title.  And as I said before this season is incomplete for me.  To many variables forced by Covid and the late start by some conferences.  I look forward to a more complete season in 2021.  And I hope Covid will no longer be a concern by then.

Shuffler...........Ohio Sate played one game with 21 players missing because of Covid.  They missed two games because of Covid.  Your point is moot.  Covid is a serious disease.

Did A&M play Clemson?  I believe it was the 4th game of the year when the A&M team only had 4 games under its' belt (less wear on the team, only 4 games.) Ohio State has won 26 of it's last 27 games.  They just avenged the lone loss.

Bama vs Ohio State should be a helluva game. I predict Bama to win, but close game.

Teams should have at least played an equal number of games...covid or not

If they could not then they should have been disqualified IMO

Early in the year all teams played less... moot point.

Osu far less worn than other teams, That is a known fact. Rules were changed just for osu, that is a known fact. Oh well.....

No one is saying they didn't play a good game, it is just marred by what happened leading up to it.
