As I made the three default skins and so have templates for them ready to go I'll be able to produce more skins fairly quickly (typically a few days per skin). Anyone else will likely have to spend a few weeks making new templates based on the defaults. Once Hitech gets the time to update the skins submission site by clearing out the old P-38 skins and updating the old P-38 file names and sizes I'll make a start on doing some new skins.

Oboe had just made what would be my regular everyday 80th P-38L skin but it's all good since ENY has consistently shafted me out of admiring it!

I'll be getting back to some P-38s shortly.  I have to update my Red Tail for a photo shoot with OBOE.   We did a test run last week and while the results are not bad I realized my skins have changed dramatically since I updated that one via adoption.   

I've got CALIFORNIA CUTIE on tap.

I scribbled down all the old P-38 skin info before the submission site was updated so I can avoid re-skinning anything that Vraciu or Oboe skinned previously. Lyric1 asked me to post the lists so he can avoid researching these schemes unnecessarily.

I'm pretty sure I won't be re-skinning all the P-38 skins I had in-game before.   Certainly, I won't be making multiple skins for the same FG/FS as I did before, as that was too confusing in the dropdown list; they were all listed with the same name.   I envision a much smaller portfolio of P-38 skins from me this time around.  I'm trying to develop a natural metal P-38J base right now, but its pretty slow going.

I have some new candidates I'm considering from both the ETO and PTO, but my resources for MTO P-38s are slight.
