Thank you to Lyric1 for finding me the info for this skin which is an adoption of a 2006 Kweassa skin of tail number 45 from the same squadron. As number 45 has also been skinned by Busa and the photo I have of it is very poor quality I decided to skin the very similar tail number 84 from the same squadron instead.
Along with the Ki-61-equipped 244th Sentai, the Ki-84s of the 47th Sentai provided the main air defence for the city of Tokyo in 1945. The yellow tail markings of aircraft number 84 show it was assigned to the group's third squadron.
