88 Kill Credit Request

Sure I can avoid them by just not going within 2k of a base but come on.  This is nuts.

It would be a great equalizer if we would get credit for a kill when we destroy a manned 88 from a plane.

It is peculiar 88 gunners get credit for killing a plane but not vice-versa.

+1  Same for the CV group gunners. If a BB or Cruiser is lobbing shells at my base and I take out the gunner with a rocket or bomb, I should get the kill credit.

The simple answer is.... they can't move. It is a simple task to kill a 88 and/or to stay away from him if you want to. He can't chase you. If you decide to get greedy and you are not very careful.... boom. I have been the boom on occasion too. LOL it happens.

It's not so easy to avoid them when you engaged with another aircraft.

It's actually easy to track aircraft further away, all my 88 kills except for one are 3k and out. Best thing to do is take rockets and kill the 88's from as far as you can first. I get near a V base or small airfield those are usually the first target.

Forethought when you engage...... you were too close to the base, or you drove him too close to the base. When you are in the vicinity of a base, you must assume someone is in a gun. Just as if you are close to a VH spawn, there may be wirbs.
