Scarborough Faire. Not available this year, however.

not sure if it's the same as the state fair. was staying in a hotel by ah office, to embarrassed to stop and say hello.

had to say, i never had a bad meal anywhere in texas. and no didn't visited a single Mexican restaurant.  we have plenty here. also had the 72 ounce steak, wasn't bad. can't remember where, think somewhere on the 10 close to Louisiana.

I lived in Houston for 5 years, worked at HOU as an aircraft mechanic on KingAirs and Hawker Jets.  I kinda miss Whataburger but Portillo's in Chicago beats everything.

Well Bless some other great states too like:

Arkansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, and West Virginia.

My home state of AZ unfortunately isn’t deserving of it anymore...too many have moved here that don’t want any blessing.

I was formerly a Redskins fan for 40yrs.

Cowboys rivalry was another awesome thing from Texas!

Saw my cousin marry in TCU chapel and family in Beaumont goes big, just like Texas is...

Youndo realize the Cowboy's star isn't a logo but rather their rating.

Texit?

They do have it in their Constitution where they can decide to leave the US iirc.

Idk maybe that’s been amended though?

Are Texans that insecure about themselves that they need a thread dedicated to discussing how great Texas allegedly is?

SCOTUS has dismissed the Texas complaint stating that Texas lacks standing. However, the court's ruling is steering the suit to that who should file suit. No mention of the case's merit. Only that one must have standing to file it. Round two coming up... In short, the court cannot rule upon a case where the plaintiff lacks standing. What the court said in between the lines is that when someone with standing files (Trump), they will hear the case... Clock is ticking.

Seriously, educate yourself.

Yes, the US Constitution supercedes any state trying to leave the Union.

Yes, Scalia wrote: “The answer is clear,” Scalia wrote. “If there was any constitutional issue resolved by the Civil War, it is that there is no right to secede. (Hence, in the Pledge of Allegiance, 'one Nation, indivisible.')”

That wasn’t what I said. I was talking about the Texas Constitution...

I was never suggesting they would. Just that they believe their Constitution says they could break up into multiple states or leave...true or not.
