We need a Rule 15

Posting pictures or stories that are so funny you fall out of your chair laughing so no one gets hurt.

Found it interesting so many liberals play ww2 flight sim games

Seems more now than in 2000 when another election was in question..they are much more into nasty personal attacks on the bbs posters than attacking the politicans and the policies.

I see why HT has to block such discussions

Is political bloviating now acceptable in all forums now?

Then why was his post left undeleted?

Is it because it falls on a particular side of the fence?

In the past I used the ignore feature extremely rarely when folks were trolls.

I have used it several times lately on folks who I found to be socialist/communist types. Of course it still works on trolls too.

Use it. You will not miss anything and the boards will improve.

More political comments outside the O'Club.

Is that the new rule?

Do we go ahead and move "the conversation" to the General Forum?

What does someone's political views have to do with enjoying a game?

What does someone's political views have to do with enjoying a game?

I suspect it depends on the individual. Seems the more fanatical or extremist one becomes the more every single element in their life demands such critical attention. Then it's merely a matter of 100% exclusion or 100% inclusion. And that also explains the (re)defining of others ('the other'). Welcome to AH becoming a political battleground instead of just a simulated game one.

I don’t see how it would harm the forum or game to have a separate section that allowed it. If it were a sub section of the O’club then only those who wanted to see anything there would.

The way it was for a bit, had the topic shown...but still even then we had to open it up to see it. It was still our choice to open and read or not.
They're casting their bait over there, see?
