Yeah I saw this too. Says the problem has to do with monitoring programs like MSI Afterburner or AIDA64, etc., running in the background. Says this hot fix will stop the stutters as long as none of those are running. They're working on a solution to that so you can have them running. No ETA on that one. Hotfix is too be included in a full driver update later this week.
I only use AIDA64 for testing but have Afterburner running all the time. I use it to OC my video card. Dunno how dependent that is to the monitoring in order to work. I'm guessing it would be.
I've been experiencing the stutters since before I had VR. Don't know if it's any worse now then it had been. It seems just as random that's for sure. If anything rather than getting a single half second pause as I did in the past, now I get several in a row and then fine for a while. No apparent rhyme or reason. Hope they get it ironed out.
