Really well done.   Wish I knew how you got pics like that.  The angles are great, the resolution is outstanding, the background/lighting is fantastic.

Drool-worthy.   You’ve outdone yourself.

Thank you guys.

The screenshots are taken in the CraterMA offline - I have a cloud file active for this terrain.    Greebo helped me set it up a fews years ago.  I don't remember too much about how I did it, now.   I play with the time of day to get low sun angles - usually before 1000hrs or after 1600hrs, whichever works for the direction I'm flying and the side of the a/c I want to illuminate.  The a/c is set to auto-level or auto climb typically, although for banked shots I am trying to fly manually.  After that, it's just a question of setting the camera position with external view keys, and I'm always zoomed pretty far in.

I have a 2560x1440p monitor now, so I can select detail portions of the screenshot and use them at full resolution - not as much image resizing is required to get to the final 1280x720 image size.   I did this on my old monitor at 1080p also.

That banked photo is awesome.

I'm gonna try to duplicate that with your skin when it is released to see if my graphics are up to the task.

My wings look like that but not my fuselage so I have a feeling it's a problem with the diffuse, but I still can't zoom in and get that type of detail without fisheye.  I'll have to experiment with your settings and see.   Just outstanding.

That is the finest bare metal in the game. Excellent work! <S>
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!
