He is referring to the BowlMa map.
The OP referenced shooting through the VH. The shooter graciously explained that he was not, and explained that he was shooting through the gap between the VH and the wall. The OP then said that the gap between the VH and the wall was too small to shoot an 85mm shell through so it had to be coming through the VH.
I am curious what you think the dimension of that gap is, and why an 85mm shell cannot fit through it? And where would one find that information?
715 and Others on different nights have confirmed it is possible to shoot through that gap (as the game is now). As far back as I can remember it has been "One" option since the map was introduced. Many of us have found better ways to attack the VH.
There are a multitude of things in the GV game that players are not aware of. Just because you are not aware of it doesn't make it an exploit, secret or a bug. Most of these things are learned from getting frustrated, being the victim of it or in more rare instances taking a shot and getting a kill. There is no manual that I am aware of that explains these things.
BTW some of the more vulnerable GVs like the Jeep, M3, M16, M18 can be killed through the VH wall with HE rounds without the VH being down. You cannot shoot an AP or HVAP round through the wall. Is that a bug? Panzers are also susceptible to direct hits from HE rounds.
The GV side of the game is pretty straight forward.
