F 16 and P51
« on: July 25, 2021, 10:02:26 AM »
This got posted to my FB feed today. I thought you guys might appreciate it. The first 15 seconds or so are a waste. There is an F16 doing low orbits then does a wonderful maneuver to form up with a P51 and fly some more.

Did I hear him call that P-51 a BIPLANE!??

Also the maneuver the Viper used to fall into formation with the Mustang, is that referred to as a "barrel-roll attack"?  Seems to me a saw a diagram of a similar maneuver in a book...

More commonly called a lag roll.

Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.

Sadly, too old, too many broken parts and I last flew an airplane in 2008. Shoulda done it when I was younger.

NEVER to old, my friend.  The folks at Stallion 51 have flown 90 year olds and taylor each ride to the customer.  They even enjoy non pilots riding in the Mustang.  Just do it!  You’ll never regret it. :salute
