I'm unable to reduce the size of my cockpit in the game. it is so large that you can't see outside only the target sight is available. The Z key even makes it worse. I have tried the INS and Del keys the + and - keys the bracket keys the Home and End keys the Pag up and down keys. the arrow keys. and I can't get the cockpit to reduce in size. :furious

VR version or 2D version of game?  Are your tower and hangar views normal?

The cockpit doesn't change size.  It sounds like your head position may be too low. Your field of view can change the apparent size of the cockpit. Try setting 106 - 120 if you're using the default 90.
