Join Requests in VR Disabled or Moved Please

Last night in FSO I had a squaddie send me a join request while I was in VR mode. I had never had one sent before in VR and it totally distracted me.

If there is a way to move the box or disable this feature that would be awesome.

You can send them to the text buffer instead but I've forgotten the command.
