Spent the last 2 or 3 weeks remapping the hardware buttons on my Virpil throttle and remapping the new setup for VR in AH.
1) Every time I "update the firmware" AH seems to know it and wipes out the current controller mapping. Sure, that's what backup is for but...
2) As reported here:
https://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,404625.msg5355921.html#msg5355921 by Drano and Wiley, this ALSO HAPPENS if you change the mapping while in-flight and not in the Tower. This explains a lot of why I was having so many problems mapping my controllers. I was trying to get buttons set for trim while sitting on the runway in an A20. It looked good until I relaunched the game.
