Some awesome flight footage

Not sure why our national bird is the Kiwi, when it should be the Kea... an alpine parrot known for its smarts and thievery. I love the way this guy goes low through the trees like a vulchtard trying to avoid field ack...



Worth noting, these birds are endangered hence the foot tags. They are not domesticated in any way.

Looks like the camera might have had a cover on it. The bird finally seems to have peeled a chunk of it off at the end.

I loved the film.
When I was in NZ many years ago, I asked about what the 2 Kea's were doing around the cars in the hotel.
 
According to the owner they searched the cars for carcass leftovers after a car hit any animals.

Why hunt when dinners is served and is coming to you ?
