I'd like to see it changed so that if no planes are used in combat within an hour of the CV spawning at a port, it simply respawns at the port because it's either being used for a stealth base take or sailed out into the middle of nowhere. Keep the CV's in play and used to make fights.

Kinda like "use it or lose it"?

I like that idea.

But I also liked the idea that to retain control or gain control of a fleet you needed to be within a certain distance of the fleet, and to keep control you had to be operating from it.  Just me though.  The guy being verbally harassed said he only had a certain amount of time to play the game, and he was creating a fight taking it where he did.  The other guy just.......I've said it before, some guys take the game too seriously and seem to think it is real, and a "war" and lose their minds if you don't do what they want or don't agree with them.

I like the idea of escort carriers with tiny fleets. The CV would only have light fighters such as Seafires, A6Ms, and F4Fs. No heavy fighters or bombers (maybe a D3A and Val?).

I seriously believe that it should be setup so that if you want to drive the carrier, you have to ask someone over 60.

The 60 plus crowd can also pull your captain ticket.

 :D

If a disagreement comes between two 60+... then it goes on 60+ and looks.  :rofl I add this so yall would not think I am trying to make this in my favor.  :rofl

Once a plane ups, it will flash. But there are cowards who will use the cruiser to white flag a town and pork a hangar and as long as no one flies from the boat, the base will never flash. That's stupid.

I'd like to see it changed so that if no planes are used in combat within an hour of the CV spawning at a port, it simply respawns at the port because it's either being used for a stealth base take or sailed out into the middle of nowhere. Keep the CV's in play and used to make fights.

How can someone be a coward in a game?

Coward? Maybe the wrong word, but a player who spends the time AVOIDING any combat to grab a base, well lets say he isnt really here to PLAY the game is he?

If this the case, is there a rule against it... I say let someone play how he wishes

CV's whose aircraft are not used in combat within 1 hour of the CV spawning should respawn at the port.

No more using CV's to sneak bases unopposed.
what are you to do when the base is 4 sectors away it takes 3 hours to get there this idea doesn't work

I disagree i like hunting CVs id rather them stay stealth until with in radar range of a base. I agree once in the radar circle even with no planes upping the CV should flash the base at least.

it would also be cool if players could "spot" CVs on the map and an icon would appear for everyone on that country showing where the enemy CV was last spotted.

Id like to see CVS get lost if a country doesn't own the port for an extended period of time. Maybe 6-12 hrs. A long enough time to still make it worthwhile to hunt CVs after taking a port. This would prevent hiding CVS for days thus taking them out of the fight and reducing action.

Perking carriers would totally demotivate new players but then I remember the frustration of watching Cybro drive CVs straight into the enemy. Also agree hiding carriers for more than a few hours is not great.
