« on: April 16, 2022, 11:42:01 PM »
Eagler won and chose Bf 109G-2 for next month. Logs are up now and round by round results up in a day or three.

We had our best attendance, most rounds, and longest event of the year in April's KOTH. The event lasted three hours and we had ten rounds. Fifteen players fought it out and we ended up with a pair of wabbits and of the two Eagler seemed to have the biggest teeth.
Congratulations and -{S}- to Eagler for the win. He chose fighter perks and the Bf 109G-2 for May's first chariot of battle.

Round by round results:
1} trogdor in a P-40N; 14 minutes
2} trogdor in a P-38G; 15 minutes
3} Eagler in a Bf 110G-2; 13 minutes
4} Eagler in a Bf 109E-4; 15 minutes
5} Sawzaw in a C.205; 13 minutes
6} Rud3boi in a Fw 109D-9; 11 minutes
7} Eagler in a La-7; 11 minutes  {Wabbit}
8} Sawzaw in a Bf 109F-4; 13 minutes   {Wabbit}
9) StepSis in a C.202; 18 minutes
10) Eagler wins in a Ya 152H-1; 13 minutes

Eagler, Sawzaw, StepSis {kills} all earn reservations to the TOC.
We also have a attendance slot that I'll have to update. If you missed January you can still get this one as one absence wont eliminate your chances.
I've also heard rumblings of not having this slot as it's sort of a participation award. Opinions?
Top five killers were: Eagler with 20; Sawsaw, StepSis and trogdor with 17; Rud3boi with 11.

Heck, in that 9th round in the c202, seemed like Shane and I went at it for a good 14 or 15 minutes....

That 1 fight with Shane, made the whole night for me!

Lotsa fun!

<SALUTE>

Edit :..I don't care nor have any issues regarding the attendance award / invitation thingymajig

The 7th works for me. I’m open to date adjustments for situations like this for others also if I can.
Any complaints?

I don't think an 'attendance slot' for the TOC should be viewed as a participation award.  I can see how a player could become the wabbit numerous times and still not be KOTH.  That person would be worthy of a slot in the TOC, but I wouldn't expect to see somebody like me, who shows up for the fun of it and gets blown out of the sky early in every round, to get an attendance slot.  Just my opinion.
