Plenty, recently. I spent a few years living in the southern Philippines up until over a year ago. Seen a lot of crazy, innovative...  stuff. Going back early next year.

I do remember my shoulder straps floating a bit during the high low transition.  Does that count?

Gina wants some life experiences.

Only 2 times did I flip the boat while racing.

In Feb '78 drove to Miami to race and during the race coming out from shadow of the stadium the nose began to rise (wind) and wouldn't come back down with negative motor trim > over backwards. First thing I did when I surfaced was to do a spin to look for any sharks. One could see their fins out in the bay.

The 2cd time was later that year  while racing in the old Welland canal. It was a one pin turn and the right pickle of my boat got into the prop wash off another boat. Drove the nose under water and did a barrel roll. Took a few second to realize I was upside down and trapped in the cockpit > life jacket wanted to go up but had to go down to get out. Pushed hard enough to escape by pushing thru part of the fibre glass cowl (got a scar on the shoulder from that). Still couldn't breath as the full face helmet was full of water. Had to open the visor to let the water out.

Wow. Thanks for sharing that Milo.

How fast were you going when you crashed those?

I'm super afraid of being in the water in the ocean. That would scare the crap out of me being in the water like that and looking for sharks the first thing I would do too. Lol but I would want to get the hell out of the water as fast as possible!

The scariest thing for me though would be upside down and trapped in that boat. Being disorientated and feeling the life jacket pushing up when you know you got to push down. I'll bet you a lot of people will get confused and drown because of that.

Icecreamonmars.com. ICOM for short.

In Miami, was around 80mph. Busted up the boat a little bit. The barrel roll was maybe 40mph. Realized I was upside down when the air turned green and the sound was funny. Was under water for probably 30 seconds minimum. I was more concerned about getting run over by another boat than drowning.

A few years earlier guy in a flat bottom boat was doing over 100mph when he hit a manatee. Boat destroyed but driver OK.

The darndest thing you've ever experienced or seen in your life....well I could say a lot of things but only a few would be believed.

1) It just so happened today that I stumbled across the game WW2Online that came out 20+ years ago. We complained about better graphics in this game 20 years ago.
2) Hookers that were willing to talk without wanting to charge for it....yes Virginia it is true. Some hookers just like to talk while sitting at the bar trolling for some old dude to give them a couple of hundred bucks to get a bedtime story. The old "Round Bar" at the Las Vegas Hilton was where it was at!
3) Better not get into the politics of idiots falling off stopped bicycles in Delaware.

We typically cruised the Six at 45 or higher (but not above 50) at .94 Mach/540 kts.  The only other thing I ever saw above me was the trusty Lear Jet on occasion.  Long range cruise in the Six was .88 mach but, no one could stand to fly that slow.

no, I would not believe that. If you were a real person and not a bot, you could join flamewarriors. Right now I have registrations shut down for everybody because I don't feel like keeping up with the work required to screen out bots, plus I don't really give two craps about that place. Also, registration because I'm not going to let Milo or Spitbull sneak back in.

if you want to join you can pm me and I'll make an account for you.

Also, you are still a member of ICOM. So I don't know what you're thinking. Anyone can join ICOM and I don't ban people for their beliefs or political posts.

i dont post on icom because it's just an I love trump website.  and if you dont, what is it the last reply i got?.  you cannot make a coherence sentence.  if i cannot make a coherent sentence then those who argue with me, are just, cannot even come up with the right word or words. worst that me?  I dont know.

That is completely false. Why don't you go there right now and look for a thread about Trump? Look at all the threads there right now and what the subjects are.

Go take a look at the subjects over there. I think the problem might have been the things that you choose to see and participate in. You focus on political stuff when that such a small percentage of what's over there.

The clear intent of that form is to have fun and to be nice. I don't know why someone would come over there and just start serving the pot and being combative. My whole point of opening that place after running flame warriors with to have something different. I was happy to have you over there. I was happy to have Milo and anyone else over there. Even Arlo.

People's opinions on politics are not why some of those people are not there anymore. It's because they were just being asses.

I practically begged Arlo to post about things that interested him and not politics. Then I was called a right-wing extremist.

I don't enjoy arguing and bickering. It's pointless to try to argue about politics, so I try not to.
