I don't think the issue is that I would have a poor work life balance. I'm not one of these people that all I do is think about work. Work is just something I do to make an income.

I have a lot of hobbies. Music is my number one hobby.

The issue is that I don't have the energy to do what I want to do when I get home. It's not like I can't shut work off or something like that. I don't even think about work when I'm not at work.

As I'm thinking More about this I'm wondering if I'm having issues sleeping at night or something. Like maybe sleep apnea or something that's robbing me of a good night sleep. I get plenty of hours of sleep and I don't remember really waking up at night.

But even right now. I woke up around 4:30 this morning because there's a big thunderstorm. Really low rumbling thunder. Rattling the house kind of thunder. But I'm tired! Like right now I've been up and brushed my teeth and I'm going to make coffee in a minute. And I'm tired. I could just go right back to bed right now.

I don't suppose you've seen a doctor?  Surely you're not using the group of internet experts and dog fetlers in the O Club as an HMO.  See a doctor.

He way not tell you what you want to hear and he may not find any cause for your fatigue, but that's one of those 'rule this out first' programs.

Once, about 12-13 years ago I went to my doctor and said, "I'm itching all over.  We haven't change laundry soap, we haven't changed bath soap, no changes that I'm aware of, no change in diet, it's just that I itch all over."  His diagnosis, "You have the itch."  I used a ton of hydrocortisone and eventually I quite itching.

Stay away from WebMD.  At WebMD you can go from 'persistent cough' to 'imminent death' in three mouse clicks.

Rule #1 Don't sweat the small stuff
Rule #2 It's all small stuff.
Rule #3 What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.  Except redheads, they just kill you.

LOL!

I have not seen a doctor about it. Maybe I should. I'm not really here for advice, but more so to see if you guys think this is normal. I've lived with this a ling time and to me it seems normal - but I remember having a lot of energy. That was when I was younger though.

Assuming no health issues.  Daily exercise is the biggest thing you can do.  Everybody should be doing it.  Helps both physically and mentally.   A little kratom as a boost helps get you going to exercise too if you need it.  ;)

I did want to add that I'm a happy person. And I feel blessed in my life. For simple things.
This morning it's raining and there was really awesome thunder. It's very rare to get thunder over here where I live. I've only heard it a few times in 14 years. But it was deep low rumbling.
It's refreshing to have this rain.
Absolutely feel so blessed.

I wonder if that is black market, illegally made one? I'm pretty sure that the Beatles were barred in the USSR. I have a friend that lives in Moscow that said something about that before. He had some Beatle stuff on cassette tape.

Case in point.

Up at 4.30 am

Installed a new printer today. Hot and humid warehouse. 8.30 - 4pm straight through, then a 30 minute drive home.

It's 5.55pm and I got home from the grocery about 15 minutes ago.

Tore off my hot clothes, washed my pretty face, and put a t-shirt on.

Put the groceries away and made a yogurt/strawberry/chia seeds/oatmeal snack. I'm sitting at my desk eating and I feel exhausted. I'll be in bed within 30 minutes

I wake up around 12, normally stay up late playing ah or watching videos on youtube.  take a shower and look at the mirror and tell myself, i can go another day without shaving.  eat breakfast around 1, go to the local watering hole and have a couple of beers, then I realize it smells like crap in here, then realize it's me.  so I tell the bartender, I'll be back, walk out without paying my tab.  go home, shower and change again, have a snack and go back. that's my routine.  cant wait to have my back surgery.  that's my routine every day. went back on lithium a couple of weeks ago.  hope it helps.  and yeah, i am tired all the time, even though i do nothing.  but that's life

If that's your normal day, what and when do you actually eat? Your snack sounds like half of my breakfast without beverages and bread. They say that one should eat five meals a day (breakfast-lunch-snack-dinner-snack) but I've accustomed to not to eat during working hours. In the summer I need something to drink during the day, though, or I'll slumber. That's not funny when you're driving...

Like all the time.

I wake up and still feel tired. when I get home from work I have about an hour before I'm so tired I have to go to bed. And this is usually at about 7:30 or 8:00..

So many things I like to do that I want to do and plan to do when I get home and I don't have to energy to do it. I'm currently mixing songs that I've recorded and I'm almost done with one of them but I basically have to wait till the weekend comes before I have the energy to work on them.

I guess that comes with age? Or is that not normal?

I'm 57 years old. I work pretty hard during the day though. I do get up early. I get up at 5:00 a.m. and then from then on I pretty much am working until I get home.

Sometimes I'm in a physically exhausting environment. Like a very hot human environment and all day on my feet repairing a massive printer. Maybe get ink under my fingernails and all over my hands. I don't know if that's part of it.

Tired all the time.

If you feel something changed - and looks like changed indeed - go to see a doctor. There are too many warn signs - so do some checkups. If it is just age, maybe Ok, but if not, its better to be safe than sorry later.

If you haven’t had recent blood work to rule things out such as anemia, I’d start there.

Some of us are in the medical profession…

Chronic fatigue is quite different than being tired. Sleep apnea or other sleep disturbances is certainly worth mentioning, but any decent GP will want a full picture SBAR well before drawing conclusions.

Hope you get it figured out. I can relate, it’s not any fun!

They're casting their bait over there, see?

Is that like the Education profession ?

Both sections of society who’s reputation is in the gutter.

Life’s not fun maybe telling people that will stop them being infantile paranoid's

I feel emotional today?

I am not rich enough or getting hand outs for said emotional garbage.
