RAF SEAC Dakota

Thanks to Lyric1 for finding me the info for this skin.

117 Squadron was formed in the Sudan in 1941 and tasked with transport and communications using a mix of captured and obsolete aircraft such as Italian Ca.148s and SM S.79Ks as well as Bristol Bombays. After moving to Egypt late in 1941 these were replaced with Lockheed Hudsons and then for the invasion of Sicily in 1943 with Dakotas. The squadron moved to India in 1944 where it transported supplies for the Chindit troops operating behind Japanese lines. This 117 Squadron aircraft had the standard SEAC blue and white markings from this period and its factory camouflage had been repainted in a disruptive scheme of dark green, dark earth and azure blue.
