When I applied to go to OTS in 2009 non-rated spots were very hard to come by, not to mention rated…Anyhow, my Tech. Sgt. recruiter asked me how many times I had toked, just had a feeling there was a threshold, so I replied several. He replied “good, had you said a dozen or more I would have shown you the door.”

Fast forward, after passing the AFOQT, that moron screwed up my package and thus I missed my review board. I had a short window with my age, and the next review board was cancelled, thus I was aged out (35y/o) of the process. No age waivers were being granted for your average candidate.

Makes me wonder with all the MJ legalization if they even ask now and how lenient they are with what they find out.

I saw guys getting kicked out as soon as they got to mcrd. they had a party, smoked weed and did coke while marines were paying to stay at a hotel. then refused to turn themselves in. one of the first things they do is give you a drug test. drill instructors told us we wouldn't get kicked out if  we turned ourselves in.

I needed a waiver when I joined, but I did tell them first. waiver took about 30 minutes. shipped out 4 days later.

Wasted?  Been there and don't care for it.  A light buzz is just fine for me.  When I cross that line between buzzed and fupped duck I start thinking lovingly of my bed and my pillows.

Murder mountain is documentry ether on prime or netflix about growers in humbolt county california on how growing has changed from the late sixties. As of the filming over 200 people have disapeared. Very good. How the war on drugs in the seventies changed it and how legalized it changed it again. Very good. Recomend it

This really makes me smile.  From Dave killing that P bass to Olivia Newton John on Taylor's kick drum... let alone Wolfie freaking SLAYING his dad's riffs...

It's pretty amazing. An amazing array of famous musicians and bands.

And poor Dave grohl when he was crying during Times Like These. That made me cry. That was so genuine and sad.
