Ukrainian Nannies

We're trying to find a live-in/au-pair for our 1 year old as my wife is heading off to nursing school in Jan. My wife's Russian and feels obligated to help out somebody from that region. I'm Russian and Ukrainian (but American since early childhood) and just want reliable, safe childcare. We've decided that he's too young for daycare.

Most of the Ukrainian 'nannies' we've found appear to be prostitutes.

Does anybody have experience with prostitute childcare?

Have you tried https://www.care.com ?

If you are having that much trouble finding a Ukrainian for child care, you may be better off finding an american to do it. Safety of the kids is more important then helping a foreigner that you have no background on and are not entirely sure they are a deranged wacko

I used care.com to find somebody to take care of my mom. Probably gonna end up going that route for the boy too.

Dolby, I heard awhile back that you had said you account at FW had been deleted. What happened was that I moved FW and created a new version. The old version still has your account. Long story.
