This Jagdpanther was likely built by MNH in January 1945 as at the time this factory was delivering vehicles painted just in the base dark green, without the normal three colour factory camouflage scheme. Its crew later applied the striped scheme of dark yellow, presumably meant to break up the silhouette against a background of trees. It was delivered to Pz. Einsatz Abt. 20, a unit thrown together from whatever tank destroyers could be found and who were sent to northern Germany in April 1945 as a desperate measure to stop the British advance. As well as a couple of Jagdpanthers, it was given two Jagdpanzer L/70s, two Panthers as well as a motley collection of Hetzers, Marders and Stugs. Many of these were captured intact by the British when Germany surrendered.
