And also isn't there Just a plain old app that will install play store onto your computer Rather than just being stuck to having to give my laptop what what seems like heart surgery and chopping up and deleting all kinds of codes and junk that was in there already??? :headscratch: :airplane:

Ummm... Play Store is made by Google for Android. Similarly you could ask why AH doesn't run on your cell phone. Or why don't diesel engines run on petrol or vice versa. Why don't apples peel like oranges?

If you want the computer feel a Chromebook might do the trick.

I've got an older system by today's standards that still runs the game well by my standards.

No, Chromebook is a device. It's Google's laptop running the Chrome OS operating system.

But if you want to experiment, you can make your desktop run Chrome OS: https://support.google.com/chromeosflex/answer/11552529?hl=en. Notice that you can try it from the USB stick without sacrificing anything but if you actually install the OS, you will permanently delete everything you have on your computer.

So if you want to use your desktop for any Windows applications and programs like AH, you'd better not install the Chrome OS Flex on that PC!

Guess we're back in the starting point.

Yes I think you're referring to Google playstore. Right now anyone can use the play store if they at least have windows 10 and also Windows 11 can support Android apps.

hi,
I used virtual box when I helped my daughter when her chromebook got bricked.

you can create a small [insert operating system] world within your windows system using virtual box, and install Android, Linux etc in it.
