Congratulations! It'll be a great experience and it opens the door to some interesting future paths.

Be smart. Find out as much as you can about the ground school curriculum they will use and study ahead. Show up having pre-studied. Never too early to get ahead of the pack.

If they are pointing you at your private, something like this is likely a good preparation. https://kingschools.com/private-pilot-ground-school-test-prep

You probably have a good basis just from the Drone experience. You can probably find a lot of ground school videos online for free too.

Update: I just got back from my AME appointment, I have my Class 1 Medical Certificate in my hands now! Now that I have this and my Student Pilot Certificate Temporary is on the way, I have everything I need, I'll find out in about mid March what college I go to!  :cheers:
