Great unwinding locked
« on: February 03, 2023, 10:00:17 AM »
Why?

It was locked after my last comment which I didn't think was controversial at all and I did not receive demerits for in my profile?

Can someone please tell me what locked it?

Thanks

Hitech locked it.  PM him and ask rather than spam the board.

Probably the same reason the last 3 or 4 "The Great Unwinding"s have been locked.

Because Hitech didn't like the subject.   So stop being a lugnut and doing it again.

is that one of the rules?

I got a demerit for "trolling" and starting a political/religious thread but my Alec Baldwin thread, but who the hell knows why? It's not even locked.

The moderation here is ridiculous.

Just stating facts relevant to the thread subject..

I did not get a strike against me towards a mute which happened in the past when I post a response and the thread is locked..

So I don't know what locked it

Just trying to understand these snowflake rules these days..

It wasn't always this was...just search for threads about 2000 and 2008..they went much deeper even having Skuzzy and others chiming in..

We live in much whimper times

LOL.

I just reopen the topic again under the same name anytime I have something more to add.  No biggie.

Sorry if I got it locked CptTrips

That's the first thing I am trying to determine here but guess that is not going to happen

It was an informative thread some could not handle for reasons unknown

Well, he's only asking a legitimate question. Why was the thread locked. It's funny that no one can point to a rule violation. You said "maybe Dale didn't like the subject"

This kind of moderation is typical. It's clown show.

That seems to be the going rate now. Its fine until a certain phrase or keyword is said that triggers certain people. The ones that are the most rude, critical, or think they have to defend everything are usually the guilty parties.
