8pm EST in the AVA arena.



Tankfights with the worlds biggest tanks--Battleships!

this thursday each side will be given a Carrier group and a Battleship

Group. the object is to find and kill the other guys battleship.

Problem: the carriers groups have lots of Ack and the Battleship

Group has 2 Cruiser Escorts. it should be interesting. Please try it out

or at the very least give me your opinion. All are welcome! pilots and

gun guys! this should be wild if it works out!

Planeset: all navy and IJN aircraft.

will give IJN some NAVY planes to even it out.

Please make suggestions, otherwise, this is what you have to look forward

to.

Battleship wars! worlds largest tanks

In June 1944, American and Japanese
carrier fleets steamed toward each
other seeking battle. When they met,
they embarked upon a naval engagement
that escalated into the most spectacular
aircraft carrier battle in history.

During two days of brutal combat, the
American and Japanese carriers dueled,
launching wave after wave of fighters
and bombers against each other in an
all out fight for supremacy.

In this scenario based on The Battle
of the Philippine Sea, the two sides
are more evenly matched with an equal
number of task groups. The two
combatants will also have to contend with
intermittent harsh weather conditions.

***when you find the other fleet, you must
PM jaeger1 and I will release the boats to
be controlled by the players!***
