Bit of a left-field suggestion, could we re-use the AH2 sounds made by Mitsu, I'm looking at them now, they're all .wav format.
Now, there would be some aircraft that didn't exist back then that would need new sounds, and we'd need to credit Mitsu for his work on the orig files, but I don't think he'd mind, afaik he hasn't played in 10+ years.

Ya, back in the day I used his ,and other's, files at times too. I may still have them myself on another PC drive. Pretty sure I have my own old AH files. But ya, unless there is a major breakthrough on Chalenge's it seems it would only make sense to acquire other files any way possible. The problem I had with past packs is people would mismatch them with planes they didn't have files for. So provable authenticity is an issue. The only way I truly know they are authentic to a specific AC is to get them myself, or help from others getting them. So far I haven''t heard back from FMOD people to see if there is something I can do with Chalenge's bank files. It's just feeling fubar.
