Toughest F4u

What would you say is the most rugged\toughest F4u, i.e. able to take the most hits and keep flying that is?

Only difference between the Corsairs damage model is the F4U1 and F4U1A have fuel tanks in the wings as well as the main. All the other Hogs have a single main in the fuselage with eternal drops. It seems the F4U1/1A aren’t as vulnerable to fuel leaks depending on fuel load out as the wing tanks can be a nice reserve. On the other side though, those wing tanks aren’t self sealing, which may make the Hog more vulnerable to fires.
