Texas Ranger
« on: April 19, 2023, 04:42:59 AM »
Thanks to Lyric1 for finding me the info for this skin, which I previously did on the old shape P-38G before it was updated.

"Texas Ranger" was the aircraft of Lieutenant-Colonel Jack S. Jenkins, CO of the 55th Fighter Group in October 1943. The 55th was the first P-38 group to become operational in Britain and flew long range escort missions for the 8th Air Force's bombers. Flying a later P-38 named "Texas Ranger IV" he was shot down and made a POW after being hit by flak while strafing the airfield at Coulommiers.
