Just out of curiousity, why was the T-34/85 not included?

because the tiger wasnt in. i usually try to use equal equipment as best as possible. i like a level playing field and the 85 wouldve offset that.

What does the Tiger I offer that the Panther doesn't? I would have figured that the Panther and T-34/85 would be balanced against each other.

tiger uses an 88mm gun, the panther and the T34 both have a 76mm gun. the armor is a bit better in the panther and it reloads faster, but the t34/76 is a good match. the T34/85 has a 85mm gun, which out matches the panthers 76mm. again level playing field.

when i put in the tigers, i put in the T34/85's and the VC sherman firefly's to go up against it.

Well, actually IRL Panther outranked T34/85 in most of aspects. How are parameters in AH, I do not know, but some T34s seem to be able to 1-ping even Darth Vader's death star.
