My God. So now if there are two or three sides to a subject with zero politics, zero name calling, just different views being expressed it gets locked ??

Isn't there a rule on no politics or religion? The "Thin Skinned" Isn't the problem it is the old boomers that do not care about the rules because they think they should be allowed to say/type whatever they want then get pissed off because the threads get locked

I usually don't whine about threads getting locked.  Usually it is obvious.

Years ago you could have a 10+ page discussion on almost anything and you always had back and forth banter which turned into slinging crap back and forth, and even had some good with photoshop that would quickly have photoshop wars against each other which would be quite amusing. Those topics were actually good reads as it had quite a wide array of points of views from everyone. But now it seems only neutral subjects are allowed, anything even slightly off kilter will get locked and the offending posters spanked for "being naughty". Sensitivity and feelings are now more important to people rather then posting something good.

Most everyone used to have fun on the boards when it was full of users. Many fun and exciting topics. Especially the peta thread. Now something fun like that would be reported and shut down in 2 hours because "THATS SO MEAN!!!!!"
